1. Who we are
Faithful Servants Home Care Services (“Faithful Servants”, “we”) operates this platform to arrange and deliver home care. This policy explains how we handle personal and health information for care recipients, the family members who manage their care, and caregivers.
2. Information we collect
Care recipients: name, date of birth, national ID (Ghana Card) or passport number, residential address, medical conditions, allergies, medications, doctor details, emergency contacts, and preferences.
Family members / paying customers: name, relationship, phone, email, country of residence, and billing details.
Caregivers: identity documents, qualifications and certificates, medical-fitness report, and availability.
Service data: visit reports, check-in/out times and location, consented photographs, incident reports, and satisfaction responses.
Technical data: authentication events and IP address, captured in our audit log for security.
3. How we use it
To arrange and deliver care, match caregivers, document visits, process billing and payments, communicate updates, meet safety and compliance obligations, and improve service quality. We do not sell personal information.
4. Consent
We capture consent per care recipient for general service, photo upload, medical-information sharing, emergency-contact use, and data processing. Photo capture is blocked unless active photo consent is on record. You may withdraw any consent at any time, with immediate effect, from the Consent Center in the Family Portal.
5. How we protect it
Access is role-based and enforced at both the application and database layers (row-level security), so users see only the records they are entitled to. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, documents are stored in access-controlled encrypted storage, administrator accounts require two-factor authentication, and every sensitive action is recorded in an immutable audit trail with the acting user and IP address.
6. How long we keep it
We retain records for as long as needed to deliver care and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations. Audit and care records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years, consistent with healthcare record-keeping norms.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about a care recipient you manage, and you may withdraw consent as described above. Contact us to exercise these rights; we may need to verify your relationship to the care recipient before acting.
8. International families
Faithful Servants is designed for families abroad managing care in Ghana. Where you access the platform from another country, your information is processed to provide the service you have requested.
